A couple of weeks ago mom showed me these and told me that Grandma Bonnie made them for me when I was a baby. I told mom that I wanted a bigger pair that I can wear now...but I wanted green.
(On Saturday):
Mom: I need to measure your feet.
Me: why?
Mom: It's for a surprise.
Me: Is it for my slippers?
Mom: yep...so much for a surprise...
(A few hours later when Grandma arrived)
Grandma: I have something for you
Me: (said with lots of sass)...Is it my slippers?
Oh boy was I excited for my green slippers.
I wear them whenever I am in the house.
I even tried to wear them to bed. Mom told me that I would get to hot, but I told her I wanted to try...they made me to hot...mom found them thrown across the room when she came in later that night. Doesn't stop me from wearing them all day...
Thank you Grandma..."I really love my new slippers"!
