A day on the lake

Friday we got to go on Rick and Teri's boat.
I went when I was 2...I was much more brave this time.
I liked Daddy to do lots of things and I wanted to do things too.
(mommy did nothing..."your belly again?" said with heavy sarcasm)

I've been practicing at the pool to float with my vest.
I'm really good at it...but I didn't want to try floating in the big water.

I was having a great time sitting on the ladder splashing Addie until...
I fell in.
My face went under.
I wasn't happy.
(mom said something to dad about when I am 15 maybe she will tell me what really happened....I think maybe mom may have helped me "fall")

Don't worry...that little mishap didn't discourage me from the water.
I got over it.

Daddy went on the wakeboard.
I thought he did good.

I also got to drive the boat.

and then I went on the "big round floaty raft"
and boy did I LOVE that.

Addie and her friend bonked heads when it was their turn.
To make Addie feel better I invited her to come with me.
I think she liked going slow with me.
No bonking heads and no tears.

I also got her friend to get back in.

I just love the "raft".

It was a really fun day!

I can't wait to go on a boat again!

Hide and seek buddy

Today I played hide and seek with Brock.
We were a team...we counted together.

...and then we had to find Addie...

You must strategize when trying to find a good hider like Addie.

I told Brock we needed to look under the chairs and tables for her feet.

She was really hard to find.

Can you even find her?

See?
Hard huh?
Yeah...we found her:)

quack

The other day I found some hotdog buns on the counter. I asked mom what they were for and she said that they were old and that we could take them to feed the ducks.
Me: On Sunday?
Mom: Sure....we can do it on Sunday (really? why that day?...whatever)

So....yesterday was Sunday...and don't think for one minute I forgot.
We decided to take Addie with us...'cause I kinda like her:)

We tried to go to my favorite rock throwing spot...'cause after throwing rocks for a bit, ducks always show up. But yesterday there was a lady at my spot fishing and mom didn't think we should throw rocks. We went farther down the river and found another spot....but no ducks.

Mom told dad to just start throwing rocks and the ducks would appear...

What do you know...mom was right.

We gave the ducks lots of bread.
And I gave myself some bread too!

"I really like to feed the ducks"

Happy 4th of July!

When I woke up this morning, I thought it was just a church day...
but it was so much more.
(after church)
Mom: Dallin, when we get home you and me are going to take a nap so we can go to Addie's.
Me: I want to go there right now.
Mom: nope, if you want to go to Addie's, you have to take a nap.
(repeat that conversation about 10 times)
....(me asleep for about 90 minutes, mom in the kitchen hears my door open)...
Me: I'M READY TO GO TO ADDIE'S NOW!

We played and ate and played and ate some more.
(I learned how to play volleyball, I'll post pictures soon)

And then...we did fireworks!

It was a very fun...and long...day...and
I stayed up WAY past my bedtime...and I am Ti-red!
Good-night!

"3rd of July"

Today we went to a parade.
I wasn't really sure what a parade was...
but it was FUN!

I really liked the flag I got and had to wave it every time I saw a flag in the parade.

The music was my favorite.
I just watched and watched.
Oh...and I pointed out the tubas.

Mom said this float was from Taylorsville
(that's where we live)

It was super fun!

Toy Story 3

We got to go see "Buzz and Woody"

The Hanks came with us.
(geez mom...zoom much?)

I really liked the movie and watched the WHOLE thing...from mom's lap of course!

It really must be summer...

On Monday we got to go to the pool.

Addie came with us.

I like to be silly.

I did take one nice picture.

Then back to silly.

I really like the pool.

Mom says that we will start going lots more...I can't wait.
