San Diego Travel Log...comes to a close

Today we had to pack up and leave the sandy place and all the animals...

while me..me and daddy packed all our stuff, I played very nicely with my cars...

And Shamu!

Me..me let me bring home a shamu (what a nice me..me)

This is my sandy place...we played at it everyday and I had so much fun...

I wish I could bring the sandy place home with me too!

Now me..me says we have a LOT to do to get ready to go to Seattle in less then 48 hours.  I'm not sure what she has to do...but I have a lot of toys I haven't seen for a week that I know I am going to spend a lot of time with!

Travel log...San Diego (Day 4)

We are still here in sunny San Diego...and I mean sunny!

Today we went back to the beach...but this time we had sandy toys to play with.

We had so much fun...

Then me..me left us to go to this place...

To see these people get married.

This is Kristina and Jared.  

Me..me has known Kristina since she was 16 years old.

She used to spend every weekend with her, Laura and Erin when they were in high school.  They would eat at Red Robin A LOT!  Then Kristina and me..me lived together when they went to college.  She was really happy that she could go to Kristina's wedding.

This is San Diego...this is what me..me got to look at during the dinner at Kristina's wedding.  Not too bad a view!

While me..me was off with her friends, daddy and I got to play!

We went to a park that was right next to the big water and then we watched airplanes take off.  I fell into a sticker bush and got stickers in my face...but daddy took them out and then got me a cheese burger at in n out...it was 'licious.  He didn't get me any fries at first, but after I let him know I wanted some, he got them for me.  He also shared his 'licious chocolate shake with me. I love to spend time with daddy...so I am kinda glad me..me was gone for a bit.  It was a fun night!

Travel log...San Diego (Day 3...take 2)

After my, not very long rest....we headed to the beach. Okay, so we walked across the street and through some grass. I am not sure if you are aware, but the "beach" has BIG water and I am still not sure that I like the big water...

My daddy is not afraid of the BIG water...he just dives right in!

I decided that I liked it better on the sandy stuff, so I stayed with me..me and we dug.

and wandered...

and played on this yucky stuff...

I don't mind looking at it and poking it...but don't make me walk "on" it!

me..me said I had very sandy feet...but she sure thinks they are cute!

While we were at the beach...I played with daddy.

We ran together...and I tackled him...and he even let me wear his sunglasses.

Don't worry...I didn't leave me..me out.  She chased me all over...and when she wanted to be done, I taunted her and taunted her till she couldn't resist, and she chased me some more!

And then when me..me and daddy didn't want to run...I chased the birds!

And then we watched this again!

Travel log...San Diego (Day 3...)

Today me..me and daddy took me to see some animals...

This is where the animals live...

We saw a lot of animals....I know there are lots of pictures, but this isn't even all of the ones me..me took....so stick with me!

These are the gorillas, there were 5 of them.  The big guy was sitting in the cave for a long time, but then he came out to see what the 2 little guys were doing.  He stared at them for a long time, then shook his head and sat down.  The 2 little guys were playing and playing...I even saw them tickle feet and laugh with big mouths and hitting their hands on their chests.

There were lots and lots and lots of birds at the animal place.  I said meep, meep everytime we saw one.  There were big ones and little ones, and ones that talked.  They even had ducks, but we didn't feed them.  The pink birds were napping, and standing on one leg.  I can't even stand on one leg when I am awake!

Then we got to go on a train (that drove on the road and not on tracks), to see even more animals!

It was pretty hot so me..me let me play in some water.  I didn't really like it very much because some boy kept spraying me and I don't like water in my face!

They even had a place to pet some animals...I was very slow and very soft (just ask me..me).

One of the animals liked me so much it licked me....YUCK!

I guess I shouldn't be so slow and soft, huh me..me!

At the end of our day we got to ride some of the animals that we saw (don't worry, they weren't real).  I rode on a tiger and me..me rode on the gorilla!

I really liked seeing all these animals, but it was a long morning and I was tired so I took a little rest on the way home...

Travel Log...San Diego (the rest of day 2)

Well...I finally took a nap...but decided to play in my bed for about an hour first. There are just so many new things in this place to check out...but me..me came in and told me to "go to sleep", so I did. And after I woke up we went on a long walk by the BIG water with crashing white stuff...daddy let me walk till I got tired...

Then me..me pushed me in the stroller...

And we saw this guy doing this...he must REALLY like big water.

We went to this place called Belmont park...

And I got to ride on a horse...but not a real one...

Then we watched this...

And then we had some dinner.  Me..me helped me color while I waited so patiently for my food.

And then I ate some fish...

It was 'licious!
