Cooper is 13 months old...

That's kind of old news...but he is.
He LOVES to eat.
Fruits are his favorite...but he will eat anything.
And if you are eating...you better be feeding him too or else you will hear about it!

He is walking all over.
He falls a lot...but he just keeps standing back up.

He says lots of words:
dada (dad)
DA (Dallin)
ba-ba (bye)
na-na (night)
ba (ball)
hiiiii (hi)
sometimes he says mama
and just today he started saying:
guuuu (guy)

He sure does love his "guys" and carries them a lot.
The other night he even took them to bed.
Daddy tried to take them away but he wasn't going to let that happen.

Cooper LOVES his blanket and to cuddle it. He also loves to cuddle stuffed animals, especially my fluffy dog...sometimes I don't like that very much. I'm trying to get him to love his own stuffed animals but he just keeps going after fluffy.

Cooper got his first haircut at the haircut place.
Mom thought maybe they could do a better job then she's been doing.
I don't think it looks any different.

Cooper just sat there so happy in the car.

He was even happier when he got a sucker at the end.
and once he figured out how that sucker worked he had a great time.
I finally had to take the empty stick out of his mouth and give it to mom.

He's getting pretty big....

Cooper's first haircut

Mom was getting bugged by the long chunks of hair on Cooper's head.
So she gave him a haircut.

He sat very still and didn't even cry.

I think I did a good job taking the pictures.

The sides look better...maybe she should have taken a little off the top.

I think he is super cute.

clip clip

I don't really like to get my haircut.
When mom takes me to my haircut place,
I let them...I don't love it...but I let them.

Dad has been trying to get me to let him cut my hair for a long time.
I always say no...but I finally let him.

Why is dad shirtless you ask?
"Hello, he doesn't want to get hair on his shirt"
Me on the other hand...I don't want hair on my skin.

Me: Mom, why do you always spike Cooper's hair?
Mom: Because I like spikey hair.
Me: Well, I like hair that is flat down.

Cooper didn't have to get his hair cut,
even though it is WAY longer than mine.

The highest high...the lowest low!

Last night...
"I go res-traunt, have dinner Gavin a Laney.  Hannah a Blake a Gavin"
(and mom's cousins Scott, Mackenzie, Sarah and her husband Mike)
"I have cheesy taco and fries...chips a dip...salsa dip"

"I eat choc-let cake...mom share a me"

"I see Don"

and then today...
"I don't want get hair cut"

me: it hurt
mom: it didn't hurt...it is just loud
me: it go ru-ru-ru-ru (moving fingers, showing how she cut)...like that.
mom: yep, they are loud, but they don't hurt.

Looks pretty good though, huh?

Shear Genius

Daddy decided that since mama cuts my hair that she can cut his too...
(no...she didn't cut those fishies out of his hair...
I made a bit of a mess while mama was snip snippin')

Tada...

Perspective...

Eeee says that everything in life is viewed by people differently because of perspective. For instance....this may seem like a lot of hair...

To eeee, it is!

To Diddy...this garden is out of control....to eeee....it just needs more space!

More perspectives:
This zucchini says..."you can buy me at your local grocery store"

This zucchini says, "oops, probably should have pulled me a week ago"...

And this zucchini says, "enter me in the county fair"...

What's your perspective?

A very exciting 16 month birthday!

Today was shopping day...eeee and I got all ready to go with Grandma to some stores. Grandma still didn't seem to be feeling very good and was having a hard time walking. We went by Grandma's friend's (V) house to drop off some leftover birthday cake (from eeee's birthday) and V told Grandma she needed to go to the doctor...something 'bout a pendix? I don't know what that is, but Grandma said that when she called no one answered, but she would try again after we went shopping. I think my Grandma really likes to shop. Eeee told Grandma that we should just go to the doctor on the way to shopping, but Grandma didn't want to ruin shopping day. Eeee told Grandma if she didn't tell her where the doctor was, eeee was going to call V and get directions....so Grandma finally told eeee how to get there....and it's a good thing!

This is me playing nicely while we waited for Grandma at the doctor.

This is me playing nicely while we waited for Grandma at the ER.

And this is me just before we left the ER so I could take a nap....'cause Grandma was gonna have a cat scan....I didn't know we brought the cats with us...but that's what eeee said.  Grandpa came to the ER to be with Grandma so I could sleep.

When I woke up from my nap, eeee told me that grandma had to have the pendix out and was going to be in the hospital for a few days.  Eeee said that we were going to go home to Diddy early so that Grandma could rest.  Eeee took me back to the ER to say goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa...I sure am going to miss them.

Before we got home to Diddy....Eeee and I went to eeee's cousin's house (Katie).  I got to play with Gracie...I liked to kiss her!

While me and Gracie were kissing....eeee had Katie cut all this off...

You should see eeee's hair...there isn't much left...eeee says she will let me post pictures once she gets a chance to "do it"....she has a lot of cleaning to do today....and I don't feel like helping!

Oh, and Katie...eeee says thanks so much for cutting her hair...she really likes it!

It's a good thing I have such a cute face...

Mom has been saying that I need a haircut.
She says that my hair is getting real thick in the back and too long.
She also says my head gets sweaty.
(funny quote from my cousin Cameron about being sweaty...
Cameron was very upset that we had to leave this one place and he was crying real hard...he got in the car and said..."mom, I'm all sweat....ohhhh, it's just my tears.")

Anyway....my hair is supposedly making me sweaty,
so mom got out the clippers...

OOPS!
Guess she didn't use this short a trimmer last time...

Wonder what dad will think?

Mullets rule!

I had my first haircut about 3 months ago by my mom and dad's hairdresser, Jaci. I didn't really like her touching me so I wasn't a very good client. Mostly I was upset because I was growing out these luscious curls...mom said something about a mullet...and she was trying to cut them off.  Well, mom decided she would take a whack at them as well.  She set me on the bathroom counter and started cutting away.  I don't mind telling you all that my mom did a great job...and she didn't even go to cosmetology school...

Well...mom has continued to cut my hair since that time.  I sit nicely on the bathroom counter while she makes my hair stylish and spikey...

A couple weeks ago we were at Costco (I fell out of the cart, but we aren't allowed to talk about that) and mom bought a set of clippers.  She and dad thought it would be easier and faster then cutting my hair with scissors.  Well....it is noisier, I don't get to sit on the bathroom counter, and she still has to use the scissors afterwards...but whatever makes the parents happy.

I was such a good boy for my haircut I got a cookie.  This cookie was weird though...the cookies I have had before are much smaller, thinner and crunchier...and only have 100 calories.  What's that about...this cookie was buttery and delicious!

Oh, and my haircut was pretty cute too!

I heard my mom and dad laughing about the clippers coming with a DVD on how to cut hair...mom said that if more people knew about this DVD they could save about $10,000 on cosmetology school!
