Me and mom have been really sick.

We haven't left the house (except to go to the doctor, me twice) for 5 days.

We haven't gotten out of our pajamas for 5 days.

Mom hasn't put on make-up or done her hair for 5 days.

Mom has bronchitis. I don't know what that is, but it makes for a very sick mom.

I have...well, I don't know exactly what I have. I cough...A LOT...all day and all night and my eyes, oh my eyes. They are bright red and have lots of yucky stuff in them. In fact, if I close them for too long, I can't get them open. The doctor says I have yucky stuff in my ears too. To prove to you how sick I have been....On Sunday, I feel asleep on mom at 5pm....then again at 6pm and slept through the night (well, aside from the waking to cough)....On Monday, I laid on the floor all morning while mom was laying in bed, If I tried to cuddle her she would push me away saying my skin was on fire. Dad came home early to take care of us....I got into bed with mom in the afternoon and fell asleep a few minutes later for a long time and I DO NOT take naps. BUT...I am taking lots of medicine and I am starting to feel a little better. Today...today, I slept in till 9am and I am smiling through my coughs and yucky eyes. I hope I get all better soon because every time I ask mom if I can play with a friend she laughs at me....I think that she thinks my eyes may scare them away :)

Dr. visit #2...

If you don't read mommy's blog, then you probably don't know that I went to the doctor last week because I sounded like a seal when I coughed....the doctor gave me some medicine and that cough went away...then I got another cough...it came with a runny nose...I coughed so much that my voice was all scratchy...mommy thought it was getting better...so last night I let her know it wasn't when I started screaming about my ear. It was hurting so bad...pushing on it didn't make it feel better...mommy rocking me didn't make it feel better...sleeping in mommy's bed didn't make it feel better....

We went to the doctor...AGAIN...today...the doctor said there were frogs in my ear and it looked like it really hurt...he gave mommy a paper to get me more medicine...mommy is really hoping that she can sleep through the night some day soon!

I went to Beaver and all I got was big "eye boogers"...

We had to leave Beaver today...I didn't really want to go...

daddy noticed I had "eye boogers"...mommy just kept wiping them away...

then my eye started to look like this...

so mommy, daddy and aunt Vicki took me to the "doctor"...

I even sang a song about it, "I see doctor, I see doctor"...

The lady in the pink pants put a clip on my toe to check my heart and then she gave me a "green popsicle"...

I did so good at the doctor that daddy bought me a "cheeseburger"...

I had a real fun time at the doctor and eating my burger...but I DID NOT have a fun time when mom and dad AND aunt Vicki held me down and put "medicine" in my eye...
