"mom, take pictures of me throwing snow"

I was pretty excited about the snow we got. It only lasted part of the day and we didn't even have to shovel the driveway. But I did got out and play in it for a while.

I told mom she needed to take pictures of me throwing snowballs.

Mom even made me a snow man.

Then I shoved him off the deck.

after all my fun in the snow, mom made me some hot chocolate.

I love hot chocolate...but I love little marshmallows even more.

It finally snowed...

Mom made me stop shoveling so I could take a picture.

Cooper wasn't really sure about the snow falling in his face...

But I sure thought he looked cute!

Can't get a break.

We got more snow.

Yep, I shoveled.

I'm a good kid like that!

It's SO deep!

It snowed a lot on Sunday.

A LOT!

Mom and I shoveled a lot.

It was hard work, but I kept telling mom we were doing a good job!

I think my encouragement is what kept her going for 2 hours.

Even in Washington.

Let's just say, I had a lot of fun today!

Brrrr....it's cold here.

Today I spent a few minutes outside doing this.

It was A LOT of fun!

Then it started doing this...

We will just stay inside now!

October 27, 2010: 9am

"Mom...where are my snow pants?"

"Mom, this is my snow jacket, right?"

"But these are for rain...ohhh...I can wear them in the snow too?"

"This is awesome"

"Mom, can you get my green shovel so I can shovel the snow?"

(mom made a snowman)

"But mom, you need stuff right here and here for the eyes".

"mmmm...it's yummy...tastes like water"

The other day I woke up and told mom...

"It's snowing AGAIN"!

I like to help "scoop the snow"

I keep trying to convince myself that I like the snow...I'm not totally sure yet...but...I do LOVE my boots...and I tell mom...

"It's snowing again so I HAVE to wear my boots"

Now that is a cute snow family...

A few weeks ago, the Seattle kids got A LOT of snow...and they made my family out of snow...it was pretty good (check it out).  Well...we have a lot of snow too...so Seattle kids, check it out...

Okay...just a mini version of aunt Mandy and cousin Cameron...you didn't really think mommy was going to go out in the cold and build life size snow people did you?

Baby it's cold outside...

Today mama got me all bundled up to go out in this white stuff.  We were in it earlier in the day and it kept getting in my eyes....I didn't really want that to happen again.

But daddy went in the back yard, 

so I had to brave the white stuff and go get him!

This is a safe place, while the noisy machine that blows the white stuff is on...

Mama says that this white stuff is snow and that I better get used to it AND the noisy machine, 'cause there is going to be a lot of both over the next few months!

....and thanks cousin "Cam" for the coat...it is oh so warm and cozy!

This is what I woke up to this morning...brrrr...it's cold out there!
