Seattle...Day 1

I have been on a plane a few times before...but I have always slept through the whole experience. Mom thought that she would try to have this happen again by scheduling our flight during my nap time....seriously, with all the fun things to play with...you think I am going to sleep??????

First I had to check out all the happenings outside the plane...then I had to check the durability of the tray...it is actually very hard to turn the knob that holds it up. I kicked it....I pulled on it, I even shook it. I wonder if the guy in front of me was annoyed. Once we took off mom let me sit in the seat next to her and I put that tray down. My cars go really fast on the tray. But they ran out of gas so I had to find something else to do...

Did you know that there is an arm to the airplane chairs? They go up and down and up and down and up and down and up and down.....they also give you free food on the plane. Well, they gave mom food, but she shared with me....cheesy crackers are delicious. The plane ride was so fun and so exciting that I stayed awake. But I got pretty tired, so when I heard that pilot say that we were "on our final approach" I decided to take a little rest. Mom was nice enough to let me sleep the rest of the ride and then carry me to the car while I drooled on her shoulder...she must really love me.

Well...my grandma Bonnie, Aunt Vicki and cousin Kensie picked me and mom up from the airport. Kensie was so excited she kept squealing and wanted to hold my hand.

The first thing we did was go to the grocery store (mom needed to get me some diapers and my kind of food). Kensie was so excited to sit next to me.

After dinner (shockingly) we went to a park. There were 3 slides (I can go down all of them my self) and some other bouncy toys. It was a lot of fun! Mom made me wear a jacket...it's cold here in Seattle!

So far I am having a lot of fun! Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!

By the way....good night diddy, I love you!

That's a busy day for such a little man. That's great that he was so good on the plane. Addi was still super small when we went to Seattle so she slept the whole time. Not sure it will ever be that easy again....

Hope you have a wonderful time. Tell you family hello.

what a busy day. I am glad you inspected the airplane so well. When I fly to seattle next month I will know it's safe.
