Mom: should we decorate your little brother's room with elephants?

Me: I want to decorate his room in all my favorite things...like....dinosaurs, construction trucks, animals...

Mom: We need to pick just one thing to decorate his room.

Me: why?

Mom: 'cause a baby doesn't need a room with lots of things all over.

Me: But I want him to like all the things I like....

Mom: What color should we paint his room?

Me: His favorite color...

Mom: What's his favorite color?

Me: (pointing at my shirt) green of course.

Mom: You want to paint his room green?

Me: Wait...actually, I want his room to be 2 colors like mine.

Mom: Could we do green and white.

Me: I haven't picked yet...

Mom: ok...you think about it and then let me know.
