Halloween 2012

Every year we have a party at the church.

We get to dress up and play games and get candy.

It's lots of fun!

Cooper spent most of the night playing with this big spider.

He even played a few games and got some candy.

He really...really...really likes candy!

At school on Halloween we had a parade.

We walked through the whole school.

It was pretty fun.

Kensie and Blakes came over for dinner before trick-or-treating.

We got to make our own pizzas.

Then we got all dressed up and ready to get some candy.

Jonah and Grace and Erin came with us too.

I go trick-or-treating with Jo every year...it's what is supposed to happen.

Cooper was very excited to go trick-or-treating too!

We didn't go for very long. Well, I didn't. After we went a couple blocks I told mom and dad I was ready to go home. I haven't felt very good all day. My body has been hot and my throat hurts. Dad took me home and I helped him pass out candy....

Happy Halloween...2011

For the third year in a row I got to go trick or treating with Jo & Grace.

Mom bought us a jack o lantern pizza and

Grandma Thompson gave us spooky skeleton straws.

After dinner we headed out to get some candy,

(but mom had to take lots of pictures first)

"Mom, take a picture of just me, I'm gonna transform. Jo, Grace back up."

Cooper came too!

We went to LOTS of houses.

Cooper had to go home early with mom to eat.

But he stayed up so he could see all my treats.

I sure did get a lot!

"I really like trick or treating. I wish we could do it every night."

Summer ain't over yet.

Just because all the big kids started school today,

doesn't mean I can't keep enjoying summer

and the 95* we are getting all week!

Mom says this is the last pool open during the week.

All the other pools are closed for school.

Me, Jo and Grace are real happy it was open.

Maybe I can convince mom to take me back at least one more time this week.

Lots of treats...no tricks!

Last Tuesday I got to wear my spiderman costume for a party at the church.

Joe was batman!

Trey and Kevin were skeletons.

After pizza we played lots of fun games and got lots of candy!

Last night was trick or treating night.

I got to go with Jo and Grace, just like last year.

I called Jo batman all night!

It was kind of raining, so I got to wear my rain boots. I learned that I REALLY like to run and splash in puddles. Most of you know that I DO NOT like the rain...but...with my spiderman hat, I couldn't even feel it!

We went to lots of houses!

and I got A LOT of candy....

mom had to take all the peanut butter ones out...

but that still left me with lots and lots!

(and yes, I did get a HUGE "chocolate rectangle candy" from Addie and Teri:)

On Friday I got to go to Chuck E Cheese for Gracie's birthday.

We ate pizza and played lots of games.

My favorite part is putting the tickets in after you win them.

and then we get some prizes!

I love that place!

It's red and has spots.

Mom: what are you guys doing?

all of us: We are digging for bugs.

Grace: we found a lady bug!

Mom: a lady bug? Cool!

Me: wanna see?

Mom: That's not a lady bug.

Jonah: yes it is.

Me: it's a lady bug...look at it.

Mom: It kinda looks like one, but it's not a lady bug.

Me: Well...that's what we are gonna call it!

Gracie Grace

This is my friend Grace...

our parents have dinner together about once a week, so we get to play.

Most of the time she shares with me...I like that!

After dinner we played in the pool...Gracie got a little wet, so mom took it away...but that didn't keep us from having fun!

We saw some birds and Gracie wanted to chase them...

But they flew away...

So then we got out the rackets and Gracie threw dirt...

(mom wanted me to let everyone know that today was not a "sweat pants" day...I wet through my jeans so when dad changed me he put my sweats on...dad let's me wear sweats anytime).
