Our time in Seattle (2013)

After our long drive to Grandma's and a good night sleep...

It was time to start our Washington fun!

On Friday mom and Grandma canned applesauce

Me and Cooper played all day with Cameron.

On Saturday we got to go on Grandpa Jones' boat 

and we watched big jets fly right over our heads.

On Monday, we went to the Ballard Locks.

We watched the boats move from the really high lake 

to the really low Puget sound.

(I didn't think it was all that cool)

Then we went down to the fish ladder and watched the fish swim.

They were really big. 

Cooper really liked them.

On Tuesday we went to "the beach"

Really it's a lake.

I showed Vicki my swimming skills.

Cooper just played in the sand.

On Wednesday, mom and grandma canned green beans.

And daddy finally got here!

On Thursday, we went to the zoo.

There were sharks there.

and birds you could feed.

We saw baby tigers, and elephants, and seals and walruses, and foxes,

and a polar bear, and penguins, and fish and it was a super cool zoo!

On Friday we went to my mom's uncle's bakery.

She visited with some of her mom's family.

Did you know that her great aunt is still alive?...she's 92.

We ate doughnuts for breakfast there...

Cooper really liked his maple bar.

Then we walked down to the beach.

and mom even took a silly picture.

"hi-ya"

After throwing rocks in the ocean and finding cool ninja sticks,

We found the troll under the bridge.

Cooper did NOT like the troll..

"Scarrrrry"

And then we went to Pike's Place Market.

And walked down by the water!

 It has been a very fun and busy week.

Tomorrow we get packed up and ready to go camping!

I can't wait!!!!

My last day in Seattle...

I have had so much in Seattle the past 2 weeks!  

I have played with my cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents, visited lots of new parks, seen animals at the zoo, played in lots of water and met lots of new people.  I am so glad that I got to go with my mom.  On our last day, mom took me back to the Lake that we couldn't swim in before and she let me get all dirty in the sand.

No offense to my other 3 cousins, but I love Cameron soooo much!  He is the coolest cousin ever...he lets me play with his toys, follow him around, watch his movies and when I get in his face and give him my "I see you" big grin, he grins back and pats my face.  I am going to miss him the most!

I really have had the best time ever...

but I really miss my diddy and can't wait to see him!

We just keep going and going...

Today I got to go swimming...

I had so much fun!

Mom let me float...she kept saying Kick???

Then I rode in this black thing in the floating river.

They even had a slide!!!

Aunt Mandy and Cameron came...

Cameron got to go on the big slide...mom said I was too little!

Kensie and Aunt Jamie came too!  Kensie mostly liked the hot pool.

Then I went with mom and Aunt Vicki and her young women to Lake Washington.  I really wanted to play in the sand and water...but just when I was having fun some voice told us we had to get out because of thunder and lightening....then the wet stuff came again and I got wet.

It stopped long enough that mom let me swing...this park was soooo cool.  

They had lots of my size swings.

And since I couldn't get wet in the lake I got wet on the slides!
