School's out for summer!

I am finally done with preschool.

I'm pretty excited about it!

I never have to go to preschool again!

But I do get to start Kindergarten after this summer is over.

My preschool class had our art and music show.

Cooper got to come watch...he tried to sing along with our songs.

 I showed mom and dad all my art I have made this year.

One of our days at school we talked about jobs we can have when we grow up.

I want to be a ninja...so made a ninja guy for the art show.

"mom, when I grow up and I am a ninja...I won't be able to wear my ninja clothes to your house".

We have been in preschool together for 2 years 

and next year we are going to the same kindergarten!

This is me on my last day of school.

Mom says I have really grown up!

After my last day of school we met dad at the park for lunch!

Cooper loved watching the ducks!

I'm really glad it is summer now because I get to spend every day with mom...

all day long!

Mom and I made a list of all the things we are going to do this summer together.

I can't wait to show you all the fun things I put on the list!

December Happenings!

There are only 7 days left till Christmas.

There is only 1 day till I go to my Grandma's house.

I am VERY excited.

Mom has been trying to keep me occupied.

Cooper has learned how to occupy himself.

I call him Little Man now!

Last week I had my school program.

I started the program like this...

But ended it on the other side of the line with mom by my side.

Lily kissed me.

"You see...my school friends aren't supposed to kiss me and one of them kissed me."

I may have thrown off my jingle bell necklace...

folded my arms....

stormed to mom...

cried...

and refused to perform.

I did sing the last song...sort of...those tears just kept coming and I needed to stop singing a few times to hug mom. Lily just won't ever leave me alone.

In other news, I got to use a cookie dough gun to make cookies for our neighborhood friends.

...And I still love to entertain and "play" with little man...

Back to school

Today was my first day of school.

Last night mom let me pick out my clothes and lay them on my brown bench.

She told me that in the morning I had to get dressed before I could watch my shows.

When I woke up this morning I laid down in mom's room for a little bit...then jumped up, "don't turn on the TV, I'll be right back".

I came back half dressed (I needed a little help with my buttons).

Mom was so proud of me that I remembered that I had to get dressed first.

I'm going to the same school that I went to last year.

But this year I am 4...and I get to go to school 3 days a week.

This year I am in the blue room.

I was a little sad I wouldn't have the same teachers...

but my new teachers are nice and I have some friends in my class from last year.

I asked mom to take me to school.

Dad stayed home with Cooper.

Since mom dropped me off, I let dad pick me up.

We went to lunch together and then hung out.

This time mom got to stay home with Cooper.

Art & Music Show

Tuesday was my Arts and Music show at preschool.

Mom and Dad came to hear me sing and to see all the art I have made this year.

I showed mom and dad the creepy crawly things...I made a dragon fly.

and my really cool rocket...with lots of fire to help it fly into space.

My teachers also made me a book with more art in it that I made.

I was very excited about my book so I showed my extra teacher Miss Shelley.

"She's my favorite teacher because she takes care of Dylan."

Dylan is a little girl in class that is really small. She can't walk or talk. She is my favorite person and I really love her. I call her Dylie. Miss Shelley takes care of her whenever she comes to class. I like to help take care of her too!

Thursday is my last day of school. I am VERY excited to be done and for summer to start!

Weather

Last week in preschool we talked about the weather.

On Tuesday we learned about clouds...we even got to eat some for snack...ok...really it was cotton candy.

On Thursday, we talked about rainbows.

A treasure hunt

We went on a treasure hunt at school...we found a treasure of "gold toins".

(Mom keeps telling me they are called coins, but I don't believe her.)

Then we got to draw our own treasure map so we could hide a gold toin at home.

"you go through the garage door, past the kitchen, up the stairs and into my room. Then look in my dresser, 'cause I'm hiding it in my clothes".

Field Trip #2

Yesterday I go to go on another field trip. I LOVE field trips. Mom came again and we rode on the bus together. This time we got to go to "the museum with all the balls".

I had lots of fun!

My favorite parts:

playing the xylophone.

Doing construction

being a fireman

making dinosaur pictures

and playing the big puzzle!

I hope I get to go on another field trip some day!

Probably only a video my family will love.

It's official...

I go to school!

I had a good breakfast with my dad.

some pictures with a tired looking mom (why does she look so tired?)

and off to school we went!

I found my name...it's on a bus...and stuck it to my cubby box...

then hung up my rescue pack...

and joined my class.

I gave mom 3 hugs before she left...but I wasn't even sad.

Mom picked me up after school. I had such a fun day!

And because I was such a good boy at school we got to celebrate by going to "The Cheesy Noodle Place". (Dad even came with us!)

Today wasn't just about my first day of school....

My Aunt "Krist" had her first day of work.

I can't wait till Thursday!
