March 2014

March is always a very busy month.
This year was no different.

Grandma Bonnie came to visit.

So did Grandpa Jones and Grandma Mim.
We went skiing with them.

I really like skiing...but I am still trying to convince mom to
let me try snowboarding.

It was nice for a few days
so we went on a bike ride to feed the ducks.

they weren't eating...but we had fun anyway.

Mom and dad celebrated their 11th anniversary.
They even went away for a night and Grandma Bonnie took care of us.

 And like every March,
I celebrated my birthday!

This year I had a Lego Star Wars party.
We played with Legos, learned how to be Jedi
including testing our skills on an obstacle course
and then playing Lego Star Wars bingo.

It was a super fun party!

Seattle...week 3

This past Saturday we made the long drive home.
I didn't even ask one time if we were there yet...I knew that it would be dark when we got home and it was. Boy, was I happy to get here. I'm a little sad that I don't get to be with my grandma and cousins any more...but I'm so happy to be with my toys again.

Our last week in Washington we went on another camping trip.
This time it was with Grandma Bonnie at Lake Chelan.

Cooper spent a lot of time in "the cage".
Mom didn't like him in the dirt...Cooper likes the dirt...and he likes to eat the dirt.
Sometimes Blakely was in the cage with him...and sometimes she would sit on Cooper.

I spent most of my time playing with Cameron and Kensie.
We had lots and lots of fun.
We only didn't get along a few times...like when Cameron and Kensie said I had to act like a girl to play with them. Or the time we told Kensie she couldn't play transformers because she was a girl. But the moms and dads told us to knock it off and include everyone...so we tried.

Every night before bed we had a fire and ate smores.
I love smores...a lot!

Our first whole day at Chelan we went to a water park.
They had little kid slides...

...even Cooper could go down them.

and they had big slides and slides with tubes.

Every one had so much fun!

The next 2 days we played in the lake.

we fished

used the paddle board

and just had a whole lot of fun!

It was a very busy 3 weeks and I pretty much loved every minute of it!

and in case you are wondering...Cooper turned 11 months old while we were there...one more month and he'll be 1 year old...that's just silliness!

Seattle...week 1

Last Friday we drove and drove and drove...

And I watched lots and lots of movies...

And after only asking about 10 times if we were there yet...
we made it to Grandma Bonnie's house in Seattle!

On Saturday we went to Seattle and ate fish and chips.

and walked around.

and watched some guys throw a really big fish!

On Sunday we went to church and hung out at Grandma's.

On Monday, we had to take Dad back to the airport so he could go back to Utah for a little while. Then mom, and Mandy, and Vicki and Grandma dragged us around the mall.

On Tuesday we went to the beach.

We walked out on a really long pier and looked at jelly fish.

Then I searched and searched and collected and collected until I had a whole lot of shells.

Cooper mostly sat and tried to eat the rocks and sand.

Until mom put him in the water...then he just wanted to sit in that.

On Wednesday Grandma, me, mom and Cooper went under the ground in Seattle.
After it was over I told mom that it was the coolest tour ever...but today I told her that it was not fun for me. Mom said it was great and that dad would really love it.

On Thursday we went to a park and played while mom visited with some friends she knew when she was a lot younger. Then they dragged us around another mall.

I got a sliver...it was very tragic.

And today is Friday...and boy was it a fun day.
My Uncle Keith is in the Navy...he is going to work on a sub.
We drove a little long way to see him and some Navy stuff.

Before we looked at the Navy stuff we went and checked out some starfish.

Then we went on a tour of that big boat back there.
It's a battle ship.

Cameron and I had so much fun exploring and exploring.
There were lots of rooms to go in to and ladders to climb.
It was SO COOL!

Then we met up with Uncle Keith, had lunch and went to another museum where you could see submarine stuff.

Mandy kept saying it was the best day ever...and I think so too!

Instead of driving all the way home...we got to go on a ferry boat.

And we rode it all the way back to Seattle!

We have had a really fun week in Seattle and we still have 2 more to go!
And just in case you are wondering how Cooper is doing with this traveling stuff...

check him out!

He loves to crawl all over grandma's house and play with his toys.

and when we are out places...he loves to crawl all over
and entertain himself!

And me...well...I just love that I get to spend every day playing with Cameron!

Legos with Grandma Bonnie

Grandma came to visit.
I was really sick almost the whole time she was here.
But I felt good enough to play legs with her.

Grandma went through all the legos and found all the parts to make lots of guys.
Then we built a ship for all of them to ride on.

and then I made her play and play and play.

I'm gonna miss her...

but she's coming back in 2 months...and I can't wait!

A trip to the park

We took Cooper to the park.
He got to ride in the stroller.
I rode my bike.

Grandma played "race down the slides" and Hide and Seek with me.
I won every time!

Cooper laid on a blanket.

It's what he does!

More visitors...

Last Friday, when I woke up, Grandma Bonnie was here.
I LOVE my Grandma Bonnie.

I took her to my favorite rock throwing spot.

and I showed her how good I am at riding my bike.

and she played with me at the "other park".

and we have spent lots of time shooting my "little green gun".

She's been trying to help mama around the house...sometimes I let her and sometimes I make her just play with me...

It's hard to have so many people coming and going and wanting to "play" with mom more then me...but don't worry...I get the attention I need...anyway I can get it!
