September...

Mom says September is her favorite month
because it is still sunny and warm...
but not as hot as August.

We did lots of fun things this month...

We blew bubbles

We went on walks to throw rocks in the river.

We ate popsicles
(and by the looks of our clothes...
we may have done all these things in one day)

We went to the park

and Cooper played with playdough for the first time.
(but not the last because he gets it out all the time now)

Mom let us bring the trains upstairs...
so we played with them lots and lots

Cooper and mom went and picked raspberries while I was at school.
Mom has canned A LOT of things this month.

I got to spray my hair blue and red for crazy hair day.

and bike to school another day.

Cooper and mom went and fed the ducks.

And we all went up the mountain with the Baileys.

It was a really fun month.
I'm still liking school and I am finally getting used to the long days.
I also started a golf class after school once a week.

But the best thing that happened this month...
I pulled out my top tooth...all by myself!
(September 28th)

That's tooth #3...
and mom and dad gave me the rest of the dollars
I needed to buy my last ninja turtle...Raph.

I am super excited for October and for Halloween...
I already have my costume all picked out!

March 31, 2013

I turned 6!

This year I wanted to have a Transformer's Party.
I LOVE Transformers...
LOVE!

Mom did a great job for my party.
We were out shopping the day of my party and I looked at mom and said,
"thank you for everything you are doing for my party"
(mom got tears in her eyes)

If you know anything about Transformers...
you know they need energon.

and of course...it's not just about optimus...
you have to have both autobots and decepticons.

Mom hung up some of my Transformers for decorations.

All my friends came and we had so much fun!
We had pizza for dinner.
We played Transformer Bingo
(daddy made the cards for the game)

and then we got to shoot pins with decepticon signs on them
with our nerf guns!

I got A LOT of Transformer guys for my birthday and I LOVE them all!

Mom made little transformer gift buckets
with fun things inside for my friends to take home.

Saturday was my real birthday!
I asked for doughnut holes for breakfast

Then dad surprised me with a new bike.

I'm still not sure I like it.
It is kinda big and the brake is on the handle which scares me.

I still think I want my old bike...but maybe I'll give this one another try.

Bike Rides

Now that I am a really good bike rider
and now that Cooper can ride in the bike trailer
Me and mom can go on long bike rides to explore.

Whenever we go on a bike ride we always start by going through my park...
over the bridge and then we have to decide...

right or left.

Right takes us to the ducks.
(see the little ducklings?)

Cooper got to feed the ducks for the first time.
Well, actually, he just watched.
But it was fun to try and get the bread just to the baby ducks.
Sometimes those big ducks are mean.

Left goes to lots of other parks.

One park mom took me to actually has 3 parks...
and a pond.
Cooper and me had so much fun!

One day we went on a bike ride just to explore lots of paths on the trail.
We did a lot of exploring.
Cooper took a little rest while I took mom down lots and lots of paths.

I'm sure glad I don't ride a bike with training wheels anymore.
2 wheel bikes are way cooler!

I can ride a bike...with no training wheels!

When I turned 3, I got a cool green bike for my birthday.
It had training wheels.
I really loved my green bike...and the training wheels.
Dad tried a couple of times to get me to ride without training wheels.
He even took off the training wheels a few times.
These events usually ended in tears and frustration and me announcing that I would never ride a bike again!

Then I turned 5.

My green bike was way too small for me.
Mom kept telling dad I needed a bigger bike.
Dad looked and looked and he found a "new bike" on his computer.
The next day me and dad drove to a guy's house and we bought the bike.
It had training wheels on it.
Dad told me that he was going to take the training wheels off.
He told me that this bike would never have training wheels on it again.
I wasn't very happy about it.
Dad said if I wanted to ride this bike, I would have to do it with no training wheels.

We got home and I told mom what dad said.
I secretly wanted her to tell dad that I could keep the training wheels on if I wanted.
Mom didn't tell dad that.
Mom told me that dad was right and the training wheels were coming off.
I told her....
"I am never going to ride a bike again".
She told me to go pout in my room...

A few minutes later I went into the garage and helped dad clean off my new bike.
Dad let me ride it one last time with the training wheels on.

Then we took them off.

Dad helped me ride the bike up and down our sidewalk a few times...but then we had to leave.

2 days later, on Monday night, we went over to the park.
I really wanted grass on both sides of the path...
I got on the bike...dad pushed me off...
and well...

No more training wheels for me!

I rode around most of the park...and then I took off all by myself...

It's 'cause I'm 5!

June 3, 2011

Mom and I went on a bike ride.

Actually, mom rode her bike while I "rode" in the trailer.

We went to my favorite spot by the river to throw rocks.

That stump on the right is where mom usually sits...
that water is a little bit high right now:)

"I'm finding the dirty rocks so I can give them a bath".

Then we went to the park to play for a little bit.

It was a nice day...now it's a little cold again.
Mom keeps promising me that someday it will stay warm and we can go to the pool,
I don't know if I believe her...

June 3, 2010

It's cause green is my favorite color...

When we were in Vegas...Grandpa Thompson bought me something for my bike...
I was VERY excited...when I got home I put it on ALL BY MYSELF.

It's a green bell...'cause green is my favorite color...and my bike is green!

"I ring my bell when I see animals and then the animals know that they have to go back to the zoo"

Thanks Grandpa Thompson...I ring my bell all the time...it makes the birds fly away:)

May 4, 2010

Dad says he needs to get me a helmet.

Mom says I should start by using my brakes when I am flying "super fast" down the driveway and then try to turn at the last minute.

what do you think?

I still love my bike!

April 16, 2010

yep, I'm actually wearing shorts...it's that nice out!

Trey got to come over to our house the other day. Our house is a BIG MESS...so mom took us outside to play. I rode my bike and Trey rode his scooter. His scooter has 2 wheels and he can ride really fast. We rode to the river to throw rocks.

Trey is a REALLY good rock thrower.

He likes to throw rocks for a long time...
I don't...

he does...

Trey just REALLY likes to throw rocks...

man, I just wanted to ride my bike...

"now can we go?"

we finally got to ride more and then we stopped and played at the park.

I had so much fun riding with Trey.
