September...

Mom says September is her favorite month
because it is still sunny and warm...
but not as hot as August.

We did lots of fun things this month...

We blew bubbles

We went on walks to throw rocks in the river.

We ate popsicles
(and by the looks of our clothes...
we may have done all these things in one day)

We went to the park

and Cooper played with playdough for the first time.
(but not the last because he gets it out all the time now)

Mom let us bring the trains upstairs...
so we played with them lots and lots

Cooper and mom went and picked raspberries while I was at school.
Mom has canned A LOT of things this month.

I got to spray my hair blue and red for crazy hair day.

and bike to school another day.

Cooper and mom went and fed the ducks.

And we all went up the mountain with the Baileys.

It was a really fun month.
I'm still liking school and I am finally getting used to the long days.
I also started a golf class after school once a week.

But the best thing that happened this month...
I pulled out my top tooth...all by myself!
(September 28th)

That's tooth #3...
and mom and dad gave me the rest of the dollars
I needed to buy my last ninja turtle...Raph.

I am super excited for October and for Halloween...
I already have my costume all picked out!

"I don't want to fall in that"

We took Cooper to feed the ducks.
Well, I fed the ducks...
Cooper stayed in the stroller.

Mom let me push him.

When we got to the pond it looked like this.
YUCK!

But even ducks in yucky water need bread.
I tore the bread in little pieces and lined them up...

Then I knocked them off one at a time (very fast)
while yelling, "Cannon Ball"!
Don't know why...but it made feeding the ducks even more fun!

Me and mom tried to feed a baby duck.

Mom took me for a ride in the bike trailer to feed the ducks.
There were lots of ducks there and even a "mama goose"
I gave them lots of bread to eat.

Then this little baby duck came over to get some bread too,
but those mean big ducks weren't sharing and the baby duck wasn't
trying all that hard to get the bread.
I tried to tell the big ducks that the bread I was throwing was for the baby duck...
but they weren't good listeners.

ducks and a safari

Me and mom took our old bread and hot dog buns to give to the ducks.

There weren't very many ducks there...but they sure were hungry.
Mom pointed out that all the ducks were in pairs...one boy and one girl.

I had lots of fun feeding the ducks...and myself!

After we fed the ducks, me and mom went "on safari".

I found lots of sticks, some were just my size and some were almost as big as mom.

I threw lots of rocks and sticks in the water...

and some things made really big splashes.

I like "going on safari".

An impromptu trip

Last Thursday, mom and I were getting ready to go to the store when mom started getting lots of calls on her phone. Then she asked me if I wanted to go see Grandma Thompson instead of going to the store....well, of course I did!

So we packed our bags and headed to Grandma's, Christi came with us.

This is me with my Grandpa Jones and mom's Grandpa Jones (spring 2009). Mom's Grandpa Jones is really old and he has been not doing very well...and on Thursday he passed away.

I spent lots of time with Grandma Thompson playing and playing and playing, while mom and Chris spent time with Grandma Jones. I got to see Grandma Jones too...I really like her.

It wasn't a very long trip, but I was so glad to see my Grandma Thompson...we even took some time to feed the ducks.

I'm glad we got to go to St. George.
And I'm glad my mom got to be with her Grandma while I was with mine.

Our last warm day...

Last week mom took me to my duck feeding spot in my bike trailor. She said this might be the last warm day before winter really comes. That's okay...we can still feed the ducks in the winter.

Yes, I do eat more bread then I give to the ducks.

Where I feed ducks

On Saturday, we took daddy to our new duck feeding spot!

Even dad agreed that it is the perfect spot to feed the ducks!
(if you remember, this is the same place that the ducks "ice skate" when there is snow)

He couldn't believe how many there were.

We had a good time!

I love those ducks!

"My mini vacation"

On Thursday, we drove to Grandma Thompson's house. Mom and dad dropped me off and then they went to Las Vegas. Look who was there when we arrived.

Mom was pretty excited to get a picture with me and my cousins. I was just excited to hold baby Blake.

Mom and dad finally left...and the fun with Grandma began.

We played at the water park.

fed ducks.

and played at the park.

Mom and dad came back on Saturday, I was really glad to see them...mom a little more then dad...but don't tell dad.
On Sunday, my cousins came back.

we played. ate cookies.

and got clean.

I had a super fun weekend!
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!
