"I don't want to make puddles anymore"

Last night while we were at the church for Kelsey's wedding, I told mom I had to go poop. She went in the bathroom with me and waited outside the stall....

"Mom, I just looked in the toilet and there was a puddle of poop in there!"

I had lots more puddles of poop today...I don't like to make those kinds of puddles and I kinda get sad about it....

For mom.

The other morning

Me: Mom look...I see flowers that have yellow things and black circles.

Mom: yep, I see them too

Me: Can I go pick one for you?

Mom: sure

Me: Can I go out in my underpants?

Mom: sure

I'm just nice like that

It's used for carrying things right?

Mom has a music player thing and sometimes she lets me put the things in my ears so I can hear the music. One day I played with it for a long time. A few days later mom asked me where the ear things were. I reminded her that I had found the music player part down in the play room. She asked me to show her where I found it...so I took her to my playroom and pointed at the little people school house. She told me to look in it and see if the ear things were in there too. I opened it up and found my van...I was so excited. Mom got kinda annoyed and told me that we weren't look for the van, we were looking for her ear things...

Then I turned the van around and showed her why I was so excited...

I HATE the snow...

Can't stand it...

Peanut butter...hate it...and I can use the word hate here.

for as far back as I can remember, I haven't liked it. Not even sure what the first thing mom tried to give me with peanut butter in it...but I didn't like it...and I let mom know! Then in nursery when I was REALLY little, our teachers brought sandwiches with peanut butter...didn't even have to take a bite...didn't like it...didn't want it.

I know what has peanut butter in it and what doesn't. Show me a candy, and I can tell you if there are peanuts or peanut butter in it. I think mom even tells me that the candy she is eating has peanut butter in it (even if it doesn't) so she doesn't have to share...she's sneaky that way.

On Monday night, we were out to eat and there were peanuts on the table. I decided that it would be fun to open some...then I decided to eat one...I did...I said yum...I ate another one...oh man....NOT YUM!

I kinda freaked out...I wouldn't take my hands out of my mouth...I wouldn't even let mom console me...I finally calmed down enough for mom to dig the peanuts out of my teeth.

The next morning, when I woke up...my left cheek was swollen and I had a rash all down my neck and behind my ears...it's been really itchy. It's a little better today...but it still itches.

Guess I REALLY won't be eating peanuts or peanut butter anymore...it's ok...

Me and mom went on a bike ride today...

Mom didn't bring the camera 'cause she was riding the scooter...so just picture me in my brown and orange running pants, brown hoodie (with the hood up to block the wind) and brown shoes, peddling "super fast" on my really cool green bike to the park and the river and the other park and back to my park all while mom tried to keep up on dad's scooter. I'm a really good rider...

Yesterday I didn't have to take a nap....

Mom took me to Kate's house to play...I LOVE Kate...we had so much fun. We played memory and colored and played hide and seek and her mom even made me a cheesy sandwich for lunch. (I asked for a cheesy taco, but she didn't know what that was). Before I left, Kate gave me a big hug!

Then mom and I played outside...for a LONG time...mom said it was a beautiful day and we should take advantage of it...I'm sure glad we did.

After dinner...we went to the "flower place" to get chocolate shakes...YUM!

Funny things I said during No Nap Monday...

"Well...I don't want to walk around the block though"

"I'll tell Angie, this finger is all better but this one still hurts"

Shhhh....be very very quiet...everyone is sleeping!

I woke up at 6:10am this morning (mom says it was 7:10 UT time so she couldn't get too mad). I was REALLY quiet when I woke up...I went into the play room...you should see it. Guess I wasn't as quiet as I thought 'cause mommy came in. she told me it was still sleeping time...I looked at her with "that face" and said, "I LOVE to play"...mommy told me that she still wanted to sleep, so as long as I stayed in the play room I didn't have to go back to bed...OK!

I only bugged mom 2 times...once because I wanted to be with her and the twice because I couldn't find my new car. Mommy reminded me I would have to go back to bed if I didn't stay in the play room so I stayed there till 7:20 when Grandma woke up and Cameron came over....

Did you hear me? Cameron came to see me...I was so excited I jumped and jumped and then we played and played. He had to go to school...I got to ride in the car while Grandma drove him...it was SO fun!

Now I get to play and play and play....that is till my Vicki gets here...then I get to play and play with her....she is SO fun to play with!

By the way...I do miss my daddy...I tried calling him...he didn't answer...so daddy, if you are reading this...call me!

Dear Santa....

I want...

-"balls...green ones"

-"running shoes...like mom and dad"

(every day I tell mom "I NEED running shoes...let's go to the store and you buy me some")

Things I told mom today...

"Steve is huge...Keef-o is huge. I like Keef-o"

"I go bathroom all by myself...I go in stall...you stay out there...go in own stall to go your potty"

11 days till Santa comes...

Last Friday I got to play at Kate's house while mommy ran some errands...Kate's mom helped me make a chain to countdown to when Santa comes: "mmmm...that sounds yummy...he's gonna bring me chocolate"...

Every morning I remind mom that I get to tear off a color...

A Wednesday...

This morning I wasn't feeling it with mommy and I kept asking for dad...she let me call him...

Me: daddy #2

Mom: yep

Dad: hello?

Me: Hi dad

Dad: hi buddy

....lots of talking...I asked him if he wanted to go to lunch with us...he did...I was much happier then...

Before lunch me and mom "go run errands...go wood store...other store...crap store"

It's cold outside at my house!

Another weird Sunday...

Daddy had to work again all day today...I was mad at him that he wasn't staying home to play with me.  Things are VERY busy at work...and had a very important meeting to get ready for early Monday, so he left me and mom to head to church on our own.

Mom: Dallin, it's time to get in the car for church.

Me: ok (I was good and got in the car and in my seat without stalling)

Mom: (gets in the car and turns the key...nothing happens) Oh crap....

Me: what's wrong mom?

Mom: the car won't start...stay here. (mom goes in the house...then comes out a few minutes later). 

Me: what mom? We go to church?

Mom: Get out of the car...it won't start. Jamie is going to come get us...let's wait inside...

Me: It's okay...we can walk!

**I don't care that there is snow on the ground and my nose is red...I just want to go to church to see Kate!

A Tuesday...

Today mommy and I went to lots of stores...she didn't find anything she needed...but I had fun.  I got to color at one store...I sat very nicely coloring while mommy did some shopping.

(just wait till you see what I get to wear at Christmas time...here's a hint...it has a tie like daddy). For lunch mommy bought me "2 cheesy tacos"...they were yummy.  I got to push the carts at all the stores and I didn't run in to anyone.  I was a very good boy today!

When daddy got home from work I tell him, "daddy go put on red shirt...like a me"

Then I gave all of us hats to wear!

I also got to play with Lil G after my nap today.  I was very nice...I shared my toys...patted his back...and let him watch Thomas with me.

A very good Tuesday!

mommy told me "go downstairs to ummmm...Kensie's room?...to the thing that spits out the paper and bring mommy all the paper".  I did!

"I go downstairs...I get paper...for mommy...here mommy...one paper a you...all papers...here"

Wednesday adventures

Today mommy actually got out of bed before 8...normally, I play in her room and let her lounge in bed watching tv and playing on the computer...but today she was asking if I wanted to go for a walk almost as soon as I got up...what a nice mommy!

Mommy and I went on a LONG walk today, and then we stopped at "other park and go on slide".  I went down all the slides and mommy even helped me do the monkey bars. After our walk we ate some breakfast "I eat jacks and mommy's chicken eggs"...and then we hit the stores.  I listened to Steve's song over and over while mommy drove.  We looked at beads at 2 places, bought some food for dinner at Addie's house and then some more stuff at the "star store" where mommy also bought me a cheeseburger.  I was real tired when we got home so I took a nap...while mommy worked on THIS.  When I woke up we played "mommy pitch I hit" and "throw risbee".  And then I got to go to Addie's house.  I LOVE Addie!  She plays with me and let's me sing in her room.  I got to sit next to her at the counter and we had yummy dinner.  I ate LOTS of strawberries and watermelon.  Then we had mommy's dessert (I had some earlier 'cause mommy loves me and shared) and played some more.  Today was a very busy day but I had so much fun!
